CapriciousCapricorn | Synastry, natal to natal. North Node conjunct Venus with orb 6.36 separating. Too wide to consider it active? Thanks |
Randall | Bump! |
Aries23Degrees | No |
EmGem | Agreed. I know you wanted short answer lol but just wanted to point out I have this in composite at around d 6 degrees and it's definitely definitely felt! |
CapriciousCapricorn | Oh, thank you guys You surprised me. I thought it was definitely too wide. I mean..Astro.com doesn't even show it as aspect in synastry |
Randall | Thanks! |
Kannon McAfee | That is too wide for a conjunction between those two in synastry, but check to see if their positions are within parallel (orb about 1°). ------------------ The Declinations Guy: precise modern scientific astrology > Expert birth chart rectification > Rising Sign Descriptions ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ |
CapriciousCapricorn | Kannon, Venus 16.21s Mean Node 16.52s True Node 16.37s True Node = North Node? |
Kannon McAfee | Yes. So you see those are closely parallel, which is the active aspect there, not the conjunction. It's a great example of how most astrologers mis-judge orbs, thus active aspects. In synastry we have to tighten the orbs a bit, so the active aspect here is definitely the parallel between Venus and the other person's North (true) Node. ------------------ The Declinations Guy: precise modern scientific astrology > Expert birth chart rectification > Rising Sign Descriptions ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ |
Nine | Yes. If a relationship has been established, will play a role. If no relationship exists, and this is just a crush won't mean anything. |

Ah, yes but that is true for everything else in synastry. People would be wise not to take a synastry where one is crushing on another seriously. |
